A ministerial delegation from the Jubbaland State Government has arrived in Lamu County, Kenya, to participate in the Lamu Culture Festival an important platform aimed at strengthening cultural and economic cooperation between Jubbaland and Lamu.
The delegation, led by the Jubbaland Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Hon. Abdifatah Mohamed Mukhtar, received a warm and dignified welcome upon arrival. Lamu County officials and the local community showcased exceptional hospitality that reflects the strong and growing relations between the two sides. The delegation was officially received by the Lamu County Executive Committee Member for Tourism and Culture, Aisha Miraj.

During their stay in Lamu, the Jubbaland ministers will hold key meetings with county officials focusing on enhancing tourism development, strengthening trade relations, improving health cooperation, and advancing public infrastructure initiatives. These engagements are expected to further reinforce the economic, social, and cultural ties between Jubbaland and Lamu.
