To promote transparent information, preserve and celebrate Somali culture, and develop a sustainable tourism sector that benefits all citizens of Jubaland.

Hon. Abdifatah Mohamed Mukhtar is the current Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Jubaland State of Somalia, appointed as part of the regional government’s cabinet under the leadership of H.E. President Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe). He assumed office following a cabinet reshuffle in September 2023, where he was entrusted with overseeing the strategic communication, cultural heritage, and tourism development portfolios of the Jubaland administration.
